Citizenship Class

Sara Haroun organizes citizenship classes in the Wonderful Westside neighborhood. Women from the neighborhood attend the class every Friday, 6 -8 pm at the Pheasant Ridge neighborhood center. Classes are taught by volunteers from IC Compassion and the University of Iowa. The class gives the women a space to get together and study for the exam. Sara also throws a small celebration for the women who pass the exam and become US citizens!
