Two neighbors wanted to host a party to celebrate their Caribbean culture. They reached out to folks in their neighborhood to see who would be interested in helping organize the event. Rodney, a neighbor in the community who owns Rodney’s Jamaican Jerk & BBQ, brought out his smoker and made food for the neighbors and a local band came out to entertain the crowd. The event was a great opportunity for neighbors to celebrate their roots and get to know each other better.
